The competition includes three rounds. The items character of the corresponding rounds is the same for all categories:
1st round
Free choice composition(s) the length of which does not exceed the given time limit. The competitor who exceeds the time limit may be disqualified.
2nd round
The second round consist of two parts which include playing at sight and ability of swift playing.
Playing at sight is second part of this round. The detailed explanation and examples please find in the given conditions for individual categories.
The swiftness of playing will be proved by the competitor in a given suitable composition. The chosen tempo must be kept throught the whole composition and of course the playing must be in tune and intelligibile. In case of a technical or memory drop out the composition may be played once again.
3rd round
The third round contents is similar to that of the first round - performance of a free choice composition(s). The time limits hower are longer.
