Violin Competition for Amateur Violinists up to 16 Years

From May 28 to 29 2011 Kroměříž Primary Art School holds the preliminary year of the Archetti in Moravia competition. The competition is held under the auspices of the Zlín Region and the President of the Zlin Region MVDr. Stanislav Mišák. This violin competition is assigned for amateur violinists up to 16 years of age.
The aegis of the competition provided by violinist Maestro Josef Suk (See).
The competition is held with financial support from the city Kroměříž . The Mayor of the city Mgr. Daniela Hebnarová expressed her support to the competition.
Příspěvek na soutěž poskytla také Hudební nadace OSA.
The aim of competition is to stimulate students to study hard and with concern, to make the public familiar with their work and thus their interest in violin playing.
Winners of the individual categories are offered following prizes:

In addition to the first prize winners will be made an offer of performing at a concert of the Zlín B. M. Phil to the accompaniment of this orchestra.
Oproti prvnímu ročníku došlo k několika změnám v pravidlech. Byly změněny skladby pro soutěž v hbitosti. Ve druhém kole byla vypuštěna improvizace.
